5 cm Pak 38

The most famous anti-tank gun of the German army was the infamous 75, i.e. the 7.5 cm Pak 40 L/46 gun of 75 mm caliber. The arsenal of the German anti-tank artillery was complemented by 75 mm and then 88 mm guns, it did not completely replace the 5 cm Pak 38/L60 guns from the units, as 50 were used, albeit to a limited extent, until the end of the war. The 50 mm guns were successfully used against ground targets because the appropriate ammunition was developed for them.
