PzKpfw I/II
tank power 495Panzerkampfwagen I Sd Kfz 101 light tank, the basic tank of the German armored forces during the invasion of Poland in September 1939 and during the French campaign in 1940. A smaller number of tanks of this type were used in the Balkans (1941), North Africa and on the Eastern Front (1941-1942). After the introduction of new types of combat vehicles, the PzKpfw I tanks were assigned to auxiliary tasks and training. The combat trail of the slightly larger PzKpfw II Sd Kfz 121 light tank looked similar, but remained in units until the end of the war.
