This study is another part of the Medium Tank M4 monograph. First, the British “Firefly” tanks were described (Militaria No. 436) and in two publications (Nos. 470 and 473) tanks armed with a 76.2 mm cannon and a 105 mm howitzer, and the M4A3E2 “JUMBO” tank. In the next one, M4 and M4A1 tanks with a 75 mm gun (No. 484), and then M4A2 and M4A4 tanks also armed with a 75 mm gun (No. 514).

In the next part of the “saga” devoted to the M4 tank, the following will be described:
– M4A3 with a Ford GAA carburetor engine and a welded hull, VVSS and HVSS chassis, dry and wet animation chambers;
– M4A6 powered by Ordnance Engine RD-1820 diesel engine and welded-cast hull (Composite Hull);
– British and American “Shermann” DD amphibious tanks

.
During World War II, the M4A3 and M4A6 tanks with a 75 mm gun were used by the US Army, and the M4A3 was also used by the armored units of the US Marine Corps. During the war, a few M4A3s were used by some units of the French army, while the British received only vehicles intended for trials.photos, color profiles, organization charts and scale drawings, Polish text, English captions
